Carl & Kay’s Fine Foods was founded in 1974 in Sprague. Murray Machej took over the store from his parents and, together with his wife Corinne, offers a full range of grocery products, postal services and liquor.
Carl & Kay’s stocks a variety of products including the staples everyone needs, but also offers a variety of unique local products. They provide free deliveries for seniors and to other towns in the RM of Piney, and they work very hard to source special products upon request.
The Machejs, Chamber members since 2019, are committed to fulfilling the needs of the community by offering a variety of products and services, sharing resources with other businesses, staying open seven days per week, and making it possible to get groceries close to home.
